Highlights of career at Stanford Medicine include
. Managed, led and contributed to Stanford Medicine's 2014/15 public web redesign effort, which also included reconstructing and modernizing the content management platform. The team was awarded the 2015 Award for Excellence in Electronic Communications by the Association of American Medical Colleges.
. Successfully led the transition of Stanford Medicine's application development team to an Agile software development methodology.
. Conceptualized, architected and led the development of an enterprise-wide application used to maintain a customized clinical trials directory for Stanford's School of Medicine, the Stanford Children's Hospital, and Stanford Health Care.

Current Role at Stanford Kim is Manager of the Instructional Design and Production group (EdTech) in the School of Medicine at Stanford University. She consults with SoM faculty to design and develop online, hybrid, and face-to-face courses for undergraduate, graduate and continuing medical education. Kim holds a Ph.D. and M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Instructional Design and Science Education from the University of South Florida. Current project is being accelerated applying many years of experience in web application development into the development of rapid UX design prototypes. Beyond basic wireframes and mockups, these interactive prototypes are now being used to communicate experience patterns and interface designs to the entire project team.
