Molecular Imaging Quantitation and Analysis Resources Core

Molecular Imaging Quantitation and Analysis Resources Core
  • About Us

  • Resources

  • This specialized quantitation and visualization resource core supports research and developmental projects within the ICMIC@Stanford program, the Molecular Imaging Program at Stanford (MIPS) and other collaborating research groups. The mission of this core is to provide training, software resources and expert advice for biologist and clinician investigators in maximizing the quantitative nature of their image analysis.

The core has a full-time quantitation specialist who is responsible for most of the core services such as surveying users for their quantitation needs, creating and conducting various software training sessions, providing software support, performing instrument calibration and developing application specific imaging strategies and protocols. Additionally, the core coordinates faculty, scientific staff, other specialized resource cores, and biostatistics programs to be available for consultation whenever additional expertise is needed.

For information on the upcoming software training, check out Software Training.

A request for specific service, one-to-one consultation and any other quantitation and/or visualization related question can be done by sending email with brief description of the problem to Dr. Frezghi Habte, Ph.D. at fhabte@stanford.edu. Dr. Habte can also be reached by phone (650-498-7247).

Click on the Resources link to get more information on many computational and imaging resources both on line and within this core.
