Dr. Nishi is the Director of the Stanford Nanofabrication Facility (SNF), Research Director of the Stanford Center for Integrated Systems (CIS), Head of Stanford’s Initiative for Nanoscale Materials and Processes (INMP), and Professor of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. Dr. Nishi has over 40 years of experience in cutting-edge electronics research and has served, over the course of his distinguished career, as Director of R&D at Hewlett-Packard and Vice-President and Director of R&D at Texas Instruments. He is an IEEE fellow and has received two of the highest honors in electrical engineering, the IEEE Jack Morton Award and the Robert Noyce Medal. As Director of SNF, Dr. Nishi is committed to supporting the application of electronics and electronics fabrication technologies to non-traditional areas of research.
