David Agus is Research Director of the Louis Warschaw Prostate Cancer Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is also an attending physician in the Department of Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology at Cedars-Sinai and an associate professor of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Prior to joining Cedars-Sinai, Agus was an attending physician in the Department of Medical Oncology and head of the Laboratory of Tumor Biology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He also served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Cornell University Medical Center. Agus has published numerous articles and received several awards in the field of cancer research and drug development. He is a member of several scientific and medical societies, including the American Association for the Advancement of Science, American Association for Cancer Research, American College of Physicians, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and the American Medical Association. Agus graduated cum laude with honors in molecular biology from Princeton University, and received his M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
