Dr. Agus is Research Director of the Louis Warschaw Prostate Cancer Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and an internationally recognized investigator in the field of genitourinary cancers. Under the leadership of Dr. Agus, the Prostate Cancer Center's research team is focusing on the factors influencing the development and progression of prostate cancer. In the laboratory, Dr. Agus is conducting research focused on understanding the biology of cancer and the development of new therapeutics for prostate cancer. His laboratory has made important contributions regarding the Her-kinase axis and related therapeutics. He is also Director of the Spielberg Proteomics Center at Cedars-Sinai that is developing technologies to better understand clinical outcomes and ultimately a more complete understanding of the various factors that influence cancer development, progression and response to treatment. Dr. Agus is leading the clinical trials programs of the Prostate Cancer Center.
