Research Interests:
  • Using Raman Spectroscopy in conjunction with either SERS nanoparticles or nanotubes to image small animal models non-invasively. Also implementing this techniqe to develop clinical Raman endoscopic probes for early cancer detection.
  • The use of radionuclide encapsulated nanoparticles for the delivery and the non-invasive visualization of therapeutics to cancer cells in-vivo
  • The development of radionuclide-labeled liposomes/nanoparticles for the targeted radiotherapy of cancer
  • Non-invasively montioring the development of cancer xenograft models in nude rats by utilizing microPET
  • Evaluating biodistribution patterns of IP or IV administered liposomes/nanoparticles tagged with radionuclides in xenograft models of nude rats using microSPECT/CT
