| Research Interests: | Dr. Cao has described the early events in hematopoiesis by imaging the engraftment and proliferation of small numbers of hematopeitic stem cells. The imaging strategies that he has developed are now being applied to the study of factors that control engrantment and direct stem cell homing. |
