## F-Test Stipulations

## In order to apply this equation, we must first stipulate that s

^{2}_{1}represents the larger of the two sample variances, and that s^{2}_{2}represents the smaller of the two variances. Second, the values of s^{2}_{1}and s^{2}_{2}must correspond to n_{1}and n_{2}, respectively. n_{1}and n_{2}, along with the significance level are used in determining the rejection region within the graph. The F-distribution table requires three variables:

- The Significance Level
- The Degrees of Freedom for the numerator= n
_{1}-1- The Degrees of Freedom for the denominator= n
_{2}-1

## Using the equations and conditions above, we are prepared to confront the F-Test Procedures.
