The Histogram


A Histogram is a method of recording data that indicates where the particular members of a given population stands in relation to the others which have been observed at the same time.

The chart below is a histogram of our sphere populace.  As you can see, it indicates the numerical value of each sphere and the frequency of spheres with similar values.

The horizontal column records the value of each sphere, while the vertical column records the frequency.

Now that we have an organized way to view the data, what are methods to describe trends and characteristics of the population as a whole? For the assessment of a population, we utilize Descriptive Statistics.
